Wisconsin Guild of Midwives

Meeting Schedule

Meetings typically occur the third Friday of the following months: January, March, May, September, and November, though we sometimes meet on different Fridays. In May, we meet in person in Madison. In September, we meet in person in another part of the state. The rest of the meetings are virtual. Our upcoming meetings for 2025 are:

  • Friday, September 19, 2025: hybrid in-person in Custer, WI, 9am-3:30pm
  • Friday, November 21, 2025: virtual, 9am-1:30pm

Additionally, our Board of Directors meets on the off months of February, April, June, August, October, and December. These meetings are virtual:

  • Friday, August 15, 2025: virtual, 12-2pm
  • Friday, October 17, 2025: virtual, 12-2pm
  • Friday, December 19, 2025: virtual, 12-2pm

QBIPOC Grant

Wisconsin Guild of Midwives Fund for Queer, Black, Indigenous & People of Color (QBIPOC) Student Midwives and 1st-Year Midwives: The Wisconsin Guild of Midwives (WGOM) supports the growth and development of a midwifery community in Wisconsin that reflects and serves all people within our state. Toward that end, WGOM administrates a donor-supported fund to which any licensed QBIPOC midwife student or first-year QBIPOC midwife may apply. Grants from this fund may be used at the grantee’s discretion, toward costs incurred as a midwife student or 1st-year midwife.

Donate to the QBIPOC fund! Individuals or groups wishing to help grow and develop the QBIPOC midwife community in Wisconsin are encouraged to donate to this fund. Learn more here.
