She is a licensed midwife (LM) in the state of WI, and

School of Midwifery, and also has specialized training
in hydrotherapy and massage. Morning Glory Midwifery LLC
provides prenatal, birth and postpartum care to "low risk"
women looking to have a natural birth (sometimes this includes
waterbirth) in the comfort of their own homes in south central
WI. Leah lives in Madison with her husband, and has four
children.
I really enjoy helping couples navigate the pregnancy
and birth process. Being part of educating couples and
watching them become more confident makes me feel that
I'm doing my part in this world. Birth is such a pivotal
life event. My goal is to support and empower the mother
and family, and to protect the natural process of birth,
thereby improving maternal, fetal, and infant well being
and the birth outcome.
Because of the potential for personal growth during this
life phase, when couples have the support they need during
this time, they often go on to become fiercely devoted
and loving parents, making the necessary sacrifices and
being proactive in their parenting so that the beautiful
children they have brought forth can become loving, responsible
citizens. |
